On the morning of Tuesday, December 28, in the regional hospital in the Russian city of Svetlograd (Stavropol Territory), an anesthesiologist brought a Saiga carbine to work and started shooting in the corridor where the patients who came vaccinated against COVID-19.
This was reported on the REN-TV Telegram channel.
According to eyewitnesses, a man with a weapon similar to a machine gun ran into the hospital corridor, distorted shutter and began to break down the door to one of the closed offices. At the same time, he fired several shots – at the walls and ceiling.
As it turned out later, it was Andrei Miroshnichenko, a 36-year-old employee of this medical institution. He came with a gun to sort out the relationship with his wife, who works as a nurse in the same district hospital. Suspecting her in an official affair with one of the doctors, he broke down the door to her office and fired several times from a Saiga carbine.
After a panic button was triggered in the hospital, security officers arrived at the scene and detained the hooligan. According to preliminary information, the man was drunk. None of the hospital staff and patients were injured.
