According to Russian Railways, a train derailed at night near the Kotluban station “due to the intervention of unauthorized persons.” There were no casualties. Emergency services are working on the spot.

According to the Baza telegram channel, the reason the train derailed was a drone attack. As a result, two wagons with fuel caught fire and one tank exploded. After the explosion, fuel spilled and the grass caught fire.

A total of nine train cars derailed. The fire at the site was localized, but it has not yet been completely extinguished.

Note that the Kotluban station is located in the village of Samofalovka and has a railway line leading to the arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense, located near the village of Kotluban.

Recall that according to TSN.ua sources, on the night of May 13, SBU drones launched an attack in the Lipetsk and Belgorod regions of Russia. As a result of this, the “Bavovna” burned at the Oskolneftesnabzhenie oil depot and at the Eletsky substation.
