In the Russian city of Chelyabinsk, a schoolboy attacked his classmates at school with a hammer.

It is noted that the incident occurred in the morning at School No. 68. A 13-year-old student came to school with a hammer and a knife.
Three children were injured as a result of the attack.
“One of the victims, 13-year-old Valeria, is in intensive care in serious condition. Another girl, 13-year-old Maria, is in the neurosurgery department”, the report says.
One of the teachers at School No. 68 was also injured during the attack. She was taken to the regional hospital.
“The injured teacher has head injuries and a broken finger. She previously tried to take a hammer from a schoolboy,” the report says.
According to preliminary data, the schoolboy who attacked his classmates with a hammer was attempting to commit suicide. He is currently also in the hospital.
In addition, it is reported that there could have been many more victims in the attack on the school in Chelyabinsk – one of the schoolchildren resisted Roman, after which he fled.
The attacker's motives are still unknown.
