An unknown person in Russia beat up a pensioner in order to take away his groceries.
In the Russian city of Perm, a robber in the entrance of an apartment building brutally beat up a pensioner because of sliced sausage and a bottle of lemonade.
This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Baza.
“The 83-year-old pensioner was going up to the elevator when a man approached him from behind. At first, he simply tried to snatch the bag from the grandfather's hands, and when he did not give it to him, he hit him in the jaw. The old man fell into the elevator, and the inadequate person continued to drag the bags and beat the grandfather. The robber's loot was a bottle of lemonade and some kind of cutting,” the publication writes.
The incident was recorded by a surveillance camera installed in the entrance of the building. The video, published by Russian media, shows a pensioner walking up the stairs with a bag, which, as it later turned out, contained food. It is clear that the elderly man has difficulty walking – he moves very slowly, holding on to the railing. A young man enters the entrance behind him and when the victim calls the elevator, he tries to take the bag.
Having encountered unexpected resistance (the pensioner tries to hold on to the food), the robber punches the old man in the face with all his might. The blow causes the victim to fall, the bag breaks, and the food falls out onto the floor. The attacker continues to kick the pensioner and picks up the food.
The robber's loot included a bottle of lemonade, sliced food and fruit. The attacker is also recorded going outside with some of the food, but then returning and picking up something else from the floor. At the same time, he kicks the helpless old man again.
“After the incident, the old man and his daughter went to the hospital – he was diagnosed with a bruise and a cut on his jaw. The man refused hospitalization. The attacker has already been detained,” Baza reported.
Recall that in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, military personnel shot at a car in which there were civilians.
