Tatarstan offered to use matkapital for expensive treatment and rehabilitation of children

The Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child in Tatarstan, founder of the National Parents' Committee Irina Volynets called for a family member to be given the right to use maternity capital for rehabilitation procedures or expensive treatment that goes beyond the compulsory medical insurance, writes RT.
Volynets made a request to the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov and Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko. She suggested using the capital for expensive treatment and rehabilitation of children. A new way of using these funds is necessary in Russia: this is the conclusion made by Volynets, after analyzing the appeals to the office of the Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child in Tatarstan.
“For one reason or another, a family is faced with an unexpectedly established child with a difficult diagnosis or partial / complete loss of health due to an accident or road traffic accident, which often requires significant financial costs from the parents before the disability is established,” she stressed.
Earlier, realtors offered to spend matkapital on the purchase of land plots for individual housing construction (IZHS). At the moment, it is possible to purchase ready-made private houses and apartments for this subsidy.
