According to the investigation, the violence took place in the apartment of a married couple who have two children: a five-year-old boy and a one and a half year old girl. A man and a woman allowed their acquaintance to stay.
On the night of December 11, the couple went to the store. Meanwhile, the man raped the girl. The mother of the child saw a bruise and injuries on her daughter's face. The parents called the police, and the girl was admitted to the hospital.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for sexual acts with the use of violence against a person under the age of 14 using a helpless state. The man pleaded guilty.
At least eight men were reportedly arrested in western India after a 16-year-old homeless girl was reported to the police. She reported 400 cases of rape by hundreds of men. In her complaint, the girl named two police officers.
