В Ростове заключенные взяли в заложники сотрудников СИЗО

The center of Rostov is blocked off.

A group of prisoners in Rostov-on-Don took two pre-trial detention center employees hostage. The criminals demand a car, weapons and the opportunity to leave the detention center in exchange for hostages.

This is reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.

Negotiations for the release of the hostages are currently ongoing. According to the Baza telegram channel, the accused were able to take the weapons from the detention center employees.

The channel claims that six defendants, some of whom were convicted on terrorism charges, broke the glass in their cell and entered the duty room. Baza writes that they took hostage the head of the operational department, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander B., and the junior inspector of the duty service.

The area around pre-trial detention center-1 is cordoned off. Ambulances and the National Guard are arriving at the pre-trial detention center. The head of the FSIN department also arrived at the scene.

At the same time, the department reported that pre-trial detention center-1 is operating in “normal mode, and the situation is under control.”

Recall that in the Suvorovsky district of Odessa, an unknown person took hostage an employee of one of the city’s credit institutions. He demanded one million dollars and a helicopter. During the negotiations, the attacker agreed to reduce the claim to $100 thousand. After three hours of negotiations, the building was stormed and the attacker was detained.
