The director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild, who are on the International Space Station (ISS), filmed most of the materials for the film with the working title “Call”, reports NSN with reference to Roscosmos. In addition to direct work on the film, Peresild and Shipenko, together with cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky examined the Sokol KV-2 flight suits and checked the onboard documentation. Filmmakers are also involved in the stowage of goods sent to Earth. The film crew is scheduled to return on October 17th. Landing should take place in the Kazakh steppe.
On October 5, the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft was launched from Baikonur with cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild. Kinoekipazh went to the ISS to shoot the first feature film in space. During the first communication with the Earth, the actress shared her impressions of the flight into space. “Everything was new for us today. Every 10 seconds brought something new.
