Poles face up to 3 years in prison for insulting a Ukrainian citizen based on her nationality.
In the city of Sopot in northern Poland, three vacationers insulted a Ukrainian woman because of her nationality.
The police reported this Sopot.
The incident occurred on Friday evening. At approximately 10:30 pm, the Sopot police received a report that people renting an apartment in Sopot were aggressive, intoxicated and did not want to leave the apartment.
They turned out to be two women aged 54 and 45 and a 58-year-old man. As it turned out, in a moment the Poles had quarreled and insulted a Ukrainian citizen. The Ukrainian woman, being the owner of the neighboring apartment, asked the Poles sitting on the balcony to move the car. It turned out that they parked the car in the parking lot belonging to her apartment. In response, the Ukrainian woman heard obscenities and insults on ethnic grounds.
The police officers who arrived at the call found that the Poles were drunk. The detainees have already been charged with insulting a Ukrainian citizen on ethnic grounds. The Poles will answer for their behavior in court. They face up to 3 years in prison.
Earlier it was reported that a 38-year-old Ukrainian woman was brutally murdered in Poland – three children were left without a mother.
