In the Polish town of Zyrardow, passers-by called the municipal police because of a cat that had fallen asleep on street. People insisted that the animal was beaten and even pecked by a crow.

Dialers told the police that a mutilated cat was lying on Jozef Mirecki Street, which was already being pecked by crows.
“The police found that the cat was resting, walking and in good condition, which was reported to the veterinarian,” says a statement from the Zyrardów municipal police.
They added that the cat was in a great mood.
“As soon as the guards leaned towards the cat, the animal reacted as if it wanted to play with them. Then it got up and left. The cat was simply resting, basking in the sun.” – the message says.
Locals say that this fluffy one is popular in the city and is also called the “kebab cat” because he often visits one of the food establishments.
