The Polish labor market lacks builders, locksmiths, drivers, doctors, teachers, etc.
In Polandcompiled a list of professions that will be in the greatest demand in the labor market in 2023. Mostly this is work associated with physical labor; care work; activity in the field of education and medicine.
This is evidenced by the data from the government report “Barometer of Occupations 2023”, according to Yavp.pl.
As explained, such industries suffer due to a shortage of workers such as logistics and courier services, healthcare and tourism.
Thus, nurses and midwives are missing in 90% of regions, and 84 counties of Poland call this problem “very big”.
Another one in four counties in Poland may experience problems with the availability of professional drivers due to the fact that representatives of this profession most often change jobs. Recently, 41% of drivers have done this.

At the same time, bakers disappeared from this list. The reason is that many bakeries in Poland have been threatened with closure due to high energy prices.
Recall that in Poland many sectors of the economy suffer from a shortage of personnel, and especially after the return of many men from Ukraine to their homeland. According to forecasts, in 2023 the demand for foreign workers will continue, and Ukrainian citizens remain a priority in employment for Polish employers.
Meanwhile, Polish employers began to compete very much for Ukrainian women, therefore they are trying improve the terms of cooperation. For women, the most important factor when choosing a job in Poland is a comfortable environment and loyal management.
