Together with Slavomir Novak, 14 more people were charged, including 3 citizens of Ukraine.
The District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw sent the case of the former acting head of Ukravtodor, ex-Minister of Transport of Poland Slawomir Nowak.

“Slavomer N. was accused of committing 17 crimes of a criminal nature, including the creation and leadership of an organized criminal group of an international character aimed at committing corruption offenses and paid protection, ”said prosecutor Aleksandra Skshinyazh.
Together with Novak they were 14 more people were charged, including 3 citizens of Ukraine and 1 citizen of Turkey. They are involved in proceedings against an international organized criminal group founded and led by a former Minister of Transport.
“The charges against other persons concern participation in an international criminal group, bribe-giving, money laundering, abuse of official position with a self-serving name, submission of false data, “Skshinyazh noted.
According to Polish law enforcement officers, Novak received bribes for his positions in exchange for assistance in obtaining lucrative positions and contracts in state-owned companies. The amount of bribes received is at least 320 thousand zlotys.
The prosecutor's office has seized the property of the defendants with a total value of over 4.6 million zlotys. In particular, the investigation seized Novak's luxury car Range Rover Velar, which was handed over to Polish border guards.
Slawomir Novak was under arrest from July 2020 to April 12, 2021. Subsequently, the Polish court released on bail the former head of Ukravtodor.
