The police car was stolen while they were checking another driver after stopping.

In the Polish city of Szczecin, on September 29, a police car was stolen while on duty.

Gazeta.PL writes about this.

The event took place in the center of Szczecin , when the police were conducting a routine check of the detained driver. They left the official car and headed towards the driver's car. Meanwhile, someone got into their official car and drove away from the scene.

The police car was subsequently found and the perpetrator was detained.

Commissioner Anna Gembala from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Szczecin reported that the car thief was detained. He turned out to be a 27-year-old man.

As RMF24.pl notes, the attacker, after driving a police car for a while, left it and got on a public transport bus. An investigation is currently underway.

Recall that in Poland, a tourist hid on a train in a strange place – rescuers freed him.
