At the border, the Poles even check humanitarian cargo.
In Poland, during the border blockade, a scandal occurred over humanitarian aid to Ukraine and nuns. At the Medica checkpoint, where there was supposed to be a cargo of humanitarian aid from the Krakow Caritas for Ukraine, there were supposedly car parts from Germany.
The Polish publication onet.pl writes about this.
Although Polish farmers promised that they would allow trucks carrying humanitarian aid through for Ukraine, this never happened. They decided to check even such cargo.
The Poles said that they allegedly exposed a “scam”. The picketers claim that allegedly in two trucks that were supposed to transport blankets and clothes donated by Caritas Krakow for those in need in Drohobych (Lviv region), boxes with auto parts from Germany were also found.
