The man was detained and searched.

In Poland, because of a joke about a “bomb” in a suitcase, a 36-year-old man was not allowed on a plane and was fined 500 zlotys.

The Polish publication onet.pl writes about this

It is known that the man was flying from Chopin Airport in Warsaw to the Netherlands. When asked about the luggage, he stated that there was a bomb there.

A representative of the regional Border Guard Service, Captain Dagmara Belec, clarified that the man stated that he had TNT and a bomb in his hand luggage.

“Employees of the Special Intervention Team of the Warsaw-Okecie Border Bail were immediately informed about the incident and went to the scene to find out the circumstances of the incident and check the man’s luggage,” said Captain Dagmara Bielec.

The passenger was isolated from other travelers and then – along with his hand luggage – checked for dangerous items. Nothing was found. The passenger said that he was joking, but he was not allowed on the plane and was fined.

Let us remind you that in Poland a tourist was kicked out of the train and he stole a bus to get home.
