The police are investigating how an unexploded shell from the Second World War fell into the hands of a teenager.

On Monday, December 6, all students and teachers had to be evacuated from a school in the city of Radzimin in central Poland due to a bomb in the wardrobe.

According to the Polish TV channel RMF24, the educational process was stopped for several hours.

The ammunition was checked by explosives technicians. The dangerous object turned out to be an unexploded shell from the Second World War.

Police sources said that one of the students brought the bomb to the school. While he is being interrogated by the police to find out how the bomb got into his hands.

During the operation to remove the bomb from the school, about 500 people were evacuated and temporarily placed in the adjacent library building.
