In Poland, a man attacked people with a machete. Three victims were hospitalized with injuries to the face and hands.

It is known that the incident took place in Torun on the morning of 17 January. It is specified that the man attacked random passers-by while walking around the city.
The first victim was a woman who was cut in the face of a man, Poland's chief inspector Violetta Dąbrowska told local publication Onet. He then attacked another woman, injuring her arm. The third victim, a man, was also hit in the face.
Subsequently, a 21-year-old Pole was detained using a stun gun. But the publications specify that it is likely that he may be a foreigner. The suspect may have been under the influence of alcohol, drugs or drugs at the time of the attack, according to reports.
The attacker was taken to a temporary detention facility.
