In Poland, a man who killed two neighbors was sentenced to life imprisonment because they had a party and made noise. The criminal complained that he had returned from work and wanted to get some sleep.

Michal was sentenced to life in prison and will only be able to apply for parole after serving 30 years in prison. He must also pay compensation in the amount of PLN 30,000 to each of the three children of his victims.
The crime occurred on April 25, 2022 in Lodz. Michal was returning home after a night shift. He couldn't sleep because the neighbor who lived on the floor below was having a loud party. As investigators later found out, a 72-year-old neighbor invited a 48-year-old acquaintance home, and they had been having fun since the evening of the previous day.
Michal went downstairs and pointed out to his neighbor that he was being too loud. However, the man did not listen, so Michal returned to the house, took an army knife from the drawer and went down to the neighbor again. He attacked the victims. He later called for help, claiming that he had found the dead. The police believe that the man killed in a state of passion.
Michal was exposed by the bloody trail leading to his apartment. Police also found the suspect's bloody clothing. The man was charged with double murder. In court he confessed to the crime.
