In Poland, a 38-year-old man stole vodka from his mother, which had 30 -year aging. For this he faces up to 10 years in prison.

Police in Konin, Poland, reported that a 38-year-old man committed the theft between Christmas and New Year.
“He wanted to try the 30-year-old communist-era vodka at any cost. The problem was that the alcohol was behind a locked door, to which only his mother had the key,” the police report said.
In the absence of the woman, a 38-year-old man opened the door with a screwdriver.
“The husband stole three bottles of alcohol,” police say. In addition, he took the car keys from the room – “in case the alcohol runs out and he has to go to the store to get it.” – this is how he explained his actions to the police.
When the mother returned, the thief put the car keys back where he got them and slammed the door again.
“Only three half-liter bottles of alcohol disappeared from the room. This was enough for the 38-year-old man to be charged with residential burglary,” the police emphasized.
Now the man faces a sentence of imprisonment for up to 10 years.
