In Paris, a 24-year-old woman raped and killed a 12-year-old girl, and hid the body of the child in a suitcase and stuffed it into the trunk.

< p> Parisian investigators on October 17 charged a woman with rape and murder of a child whose body was found in the trunk the day before. It is known that the accused suffers from psychiatric disorders.

The woman had previously been interrogated along with an elderly man suspected of giving her asylum. The judge ordered that the accused be taken into custody.

According to the prosecutor's office, during the interrogation, the woman made “various statements, switching between confessing and denying the facts of the case.” But in the end, she said that she brought the girl, who was only known by the name Lola, to her sister's apartment. There, the attacker forced the child to take a shower.

The woman said that then “inflicted sexual harm and other violent acts against (Lola) resulting in her death, and hid her body in the trunk,” prosecutors said.

Autopsy evidence suggests that the girl died as a result of ” cardio-respiratory failure with signs of asphyxia and compression of the cervix. Other non-fatal wounds were found on her face and back, and large wounds were also found on her neck. The numbers 0 and 1 were written in red on both feet of the child.

A 43-year-old man who was also interrogated in this case admitted that he brought a 24-year-old woman to home with two suitcases in the trunk. According to the man, the attacker was with him for two hours, and then again went somewhere in a car with a different driver.

The woman was arrested after investigators tracked her movement on CCTV cameras and using recordings phone calls and physical searches.
