In Pakistan, a professor was fired from a university after he questioned students in an exam about incest.

In Islamabad, Pakistan, a university professor asked students about incest in an exam. For this, he was fired from the school.

The New York Post writes about it.

As noted, Professor Khair ul Bashir of Komsats University in Islamabad asked electrical students a question about incest in an exam.

“The content of the exam is highly unacceptable and is in complete contravention of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan's curriculum laws and has caused unrest among the families of the students,” a letter from a university official said.

The investigation says the offending question test was conducted on December 4 and 5 for undergraduate electrical engineering students. The question itself was given with a story about Julie and Mark – brother and sister.

“They stay alone at the beach house one evening. They decide it will be interesting and fun if they try to make love,” the question says.

The clue goes on to say that Julie was on birth control and Mark was using a condom, and that they both enjoyed having intimate encounters together, though they vowed never to do so again.

“What do you think about it? Was it good for them to make love? Justify your answers and give relevant examples of your own knowledge and personal opinion,” the professor asked the students.

According to the professor, the answer should be 300 words long and include “four paragraphs, which include an introduction, body and conclusion.” The incident sparked outrage from both students and scholars outside the university. The teacher lost his job for a tactless question.

Recall that members of an organized criminal group who killed a professor at the National University will be tried in Zaporozhye.
