In Myanmar, a girl went to exercise and accidentally filmed a coup in the country
A resident of Myanmar, who has been doing aerobics near the parliament building for several months, accidentally filmed the beginning of a military coup in this country, writes The Guardian.
In a two-minute video, a girl stands in front of the camera and begins to vigorously do exercises to the music. At the same time, a road blocked by cordons is visible in the background. After some time, black cars with flashing lights begin to drive up to the cordons, while machine guns are installed on the roofs of some of the cars. The girl, however, does not notice this, continuing to dance.
The video was uploaded to the social network by journalist Aditya Raj Kaul. It has been viewed over 12 million times on Twitter. However, users did not immediately believe in the reality of what was happening, believing that it was a fake. But Kaul assures that the video is real, referring to the girl's Facebook. She said she has been doing aerobics in front of the Myanmar parliament for a year. In an interview with reporters, the athlete explained that she did not pay attention to what was happening, as she was recording a video for a fitness competition.
Recall that the coup in Myanmar took place on February 1. The military came to power in this country again, who declared a state of emergency in Myanmar for a period of one year.
