The Soviet tank stood in the city for more than 50 years/Mukachevo City Council

The Soviet tank has been standing since 1969
It is known that the Soviet tank was installed in 1969. This is a combat vehicle from the reserve of the 128th brigade. Traditionally, for a monument of that era, the combat vehicle itself had nothing to do with World War II.
The Mukachevo city council says that the original tank, which first entered the city in 1944, was hit. It was abandoned during the crossing of the Latoritsa River.
The dismantling of the Soviet tank was agreed upon by the committee of the city council. The day before, the bust of Pushkin was already removed in the city.
As for the military machine itself, it was dismantled by employees of the utility company. The tank was sent to storage, where it will not be an eyesore to anyone.
