On the evening of Thursday, January 13, an emergency occurred in the President Hotel in the capital of Russia. At the height of the seventh floor, an elevator cabin with people broke off.

According to preliminary information, the hotel building was being renovated. The elevator, in which there were two workers, fell from a height of the seventh floor. Judging by their last names, they were guest workers of Armenian origin. They were going down after their shift when the elevator went down.
One of the dead was found on the floor, and the other was between the elevator car and the wall.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the reason for the fall of the cabin was a violation of the rules for carrying out repair work.
