As a result of the fire, the suspect burned his hands.
On the night of January 19 in the north of Moscow strong> on the territory of the Church of St. John of Kronstadt there was a fire. One person was injured.
This is reported by Russian WMD and Telegram channels.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a two-story wooden structure was on fire. The fire was extinguished.
Baza writes that a parishioner started the fire in the building of the Sunday school. It happened on the night of January 19, when the festivities were over in the temple, and the rector of the temple left to consecrate the font. According to the guard, only two altar servers and the guard himself should remain on the temple grounds. However, another man was found in the building. He had burned hands. He was sent to the hospital.
He introduced himself to the police as Artemy. Allegedly, the abbot himself let him into the temple, and the fire started because a solvent spilled into it. Why he needed this mixture, the man could not explain. The rector of the temple confirmed that he saw the man several times in the services, but claims that he did not let him into the building.
Currently, two versions of the incident are being considered: arson and careless handling of fire.
