History of the attack on Orest Kosar
According to the investigation, the incident took place on 2 July. The 65-year-old artist was returning home: an unknown man attacked him right at the entrance.
The attacker struck a series of punches and kicks, after which he began rummaging through his victim's belongings. All that the 35-year-old recidivist could steal was art supplies and a mobile phone worth UAH 800.
At about 6 pm, Orest Kosar's relatives found him half-dead in the stairwell of their own house.
The artist was immediately hospitalized, but from his injuries he died in intensive care.
