An elderly Jewish man was beaten to death by a pro-Palestinian protester at a pro-Israel rally, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

According to eyewitnesses, a confrontation broke out between the elderly man and the suspect. The elderly man was later found bleeding on the ground and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead from a brain hemorrhage.
“We are stunned to learn of the tragic death of an elderly Jewish man who was hit in the head with a megaphone by a pro-Palestinian protester in Westlake Village,” the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles said in a statement.
The federation said this is the fourth major anti-Semitic crime committed in Los Angeles this year.
