Child died in hospital.
An 11-year-old girl died in an apartment building in Shadwell, London, where toxic chemicals were later discovered, and three others were taken to hospital after they became ill.

It is believed that the chemicals found by the rescuers were used for pest control . Other residents of the quarter were evacuated and are now being looked after by local authorities.
The London police said that the girl died in hospital and the cause of death will be known after a postmortem examination. The other three people remain in the hospital. Doctors do not give any details about their condition.
Rescuers carried out a sweep of the building and found a certain amount of chemicals, which are believed to be used for pest control. They will be safely removed and investigations will be carried out to determine how they ended up in the building.
