In Lithuania, residents of a nursing home infected with COVID-19 after vaccination

In Lithuania, an outbreak of coronavirus infection was recorded in a boarding house after all patients were fully vaccinated. This was reported by the Lauksargiai nursing home in the Taurage region, RIA Novosti reports.

Only 14 out of 15 COVID-19 infected residents of the boarding school were vaccinated according to the full schedule. According to management, the National Public Health Center (NVSC) is starting an additional review of the vaccination process at this facility.

Earlier in Greece, an 85-year-old man died minutes after being vaccinated against the coronavirus. Before the vaccination, the doctors took a history of the patient, and he had no contraindications to the vaccine. After the vaccination, the elderly man was sitting in the waiting room, then suddenly lost consciousness and fell. Doctors promptly provided him with first aid and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, after which the patient regained consciousness for about five minutes and again lost consciousness.
