The first foreign visit of Acting President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov is planned to Russia. This was stated by the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev.
“We often discuss this issue (Japarov's visits abroad. – RT ) in Kyrgyzstan, there are certain invitations from individual countries, but, of course, we intend to make the first visit to Moscow,” he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Kazakbayev specified that the dates of the visit were discussed during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and representatives of the Russian presidential administration.
“I hope they will give an answer in the near future,” the diplomat added.
Earlier, the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan set early presidential elections in the country for January 10, 2021.
