Oleg Kutsin was said goodbye in Kiev
One of them was 56-year-old Oleg Kutsin. He was the commander and founder of the “Carpathian Sich” battalion.
He went to defend our state from the first days of the brazen large-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers in 2022. “Karpatska Sich” defended Kyiv, held positions in Irpen and Brovary direction. After the de-occupation of the Kiev region, the unit is fighting in the Izyum direction. Unfortunately, it was in the last direction that Oleg's brave heart stopped when he confronted the enemy.
Today, June 22, in Kyiv, on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, a farewell to the commander of the “Carpathian Sich” battalion took place, which was attended by several hundred people to honor his memory. After that, a burial will take place at the Baikove cemetery.

The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko was also at the farewell to the commander. He stressed that Oleg Kutsin never left Ukraine in difficult times, he began to defend our state back in 2014 in the Donbas, fought at the Donetsk airport.

Oleg Kutsyn: briefly
This is a Ukrainian public, political and military figure. He was the head of the “Legion of Freedom”, a member of the Political Council of the All-Ukrainian Association “Svoboda”, the chairman of the Transcarpathian regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Association “Svoboda”. Also, as noted above, the commander of the Separate Combined Assault Company “Carpathian Sich” of the 93rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleg is from Ivano-Frankivsk, lived and worked in Tyachevo, Transcarpathian region. There in 2005 – In 2006, he held the position of First Deputy Chairman and headed the regional state administration.
Fought for Ukraine since 2014, then, on his initiative, the volunteer assault company “Carpathian Sich” was created.
