Around 5:00 pm on March 1, in Kyiv, Putin's troops launched an airstrike on a TV tower in Dorohozhichy.

Local residents in social networks report a powerful explosion in Dorohozhichy. Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko published a video of the explosion on Dorogozhichy: the Russian aggressor was aiming directly at the TV tower.

A few minutes after the airstrike, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that as a result of the explosion in Dorohozhychi, Ukrainian channels would not work for some time.

– Hitting the broadcaster's control room on the TV tower. In the near future, backup broadcasting of some of the channels will be turned on, the message says.

The TV tower on Dorohozhichy in Kyiv is the tallest building in Ukraine. Near it are exclusively residential buildings, as well as the Babi Yar Memorial Complex, dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust during World War II.
