Kharkiv rescuers continue to extinguish a large-scale fire in the Barabashovo market. The cause of the fire was enemy shelling of the Russian occupiers.
This was reported to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Rescuers were informed about the fire at 14:00 on March 17. As a result of the shelling, trading pavilions in different places of the market caught fire.
Currently, 21 units of fire and rescue equipment and about 100 personnel of the State Emergency Service are working at the scene. Firefighters are trying to contain the fire from spreading to the housing sector.
