In Kazakhstan, Zhanar Tolybaeva, who was convicted in the case of the murder of figure skater Denis Ten, was released from the colony. This was reported by Tengrinews with reference to the apparatus of the Supreme Court of the republic.
It is noted that Tolybaeva applied to the court with a petition to replace the unserved part of the sentence with restriction of freedom. On January 6, this request was granted.
We will remind, 25-year-old skater Denis Ten died in July 2018 when he tried to prevent the theft of mirrors from his car. During a fight, two malefactors stabbed the athlete with a knife, he died from blood loss.
In January 2019, the court sentenced the defendants to 18 years in prison. Tolybaeva was found guilty of failure to report a crime, she was sentenced to four years in prison. It is known that in March 2019 she gave birth to a child in the colony.
