A man with a knife barricaded himself into a Japanese meat restaurant in downtown Tokyo, taking the director of the establishment hostage. Asahi TV channel reports about the incident.

It is clarified that the incident took place on Saturday night. An unknown person locked himself in a Korean restaurant near Eegi Station.

According to reports, police officers are in talks with a man. So far, nothing has been reported about the attacker's requirements.
