The animal has not yet been caught, but traps have been set inside the local campus.
Po At least 15 people were injured in the vicinity of the city of Jorhat in the Indian state of Assam as a result of a leopard attack.
This is reported by the Times of India TV channel, citing the state police.
Among those affected are forestry workers, children and women.
A significant proportion of the incidents occurred around the Rainforest Research Institute (RFRI) campus, on the outskirts of Jorhat.

Forest department officials speculate the animal came to campus looking for food from nearby Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary.
“The animal has become very aggressive. We have set traps inside the campus to capture it. We are working hard to track it down,” Jorhat administration spokesman Ranjit Konwar said.
