The accident occurred between the towns of Kunszentmárton and Tyszaföldvár.
On Saturday, July 6, a traffic accident occurred in Hungary involving a passenger bus with Ukrainian registration.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Nyíregyháza (Hungary) reported this on Facebook.
According to official data, 19 people were injured in the accident, 17 of whom were minor citizens of Ukraine. At least two children were seriously injured. All the victims were promptly hospitalized in local medical institutions.
Diplomats from the consular department of the Ukrainian embassy in Hungary immediately arrived at the scene of the accident. The remaining 49 passengers who did not require hospitalization were provided with temporary accommodation and food.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs assured that the Ukrainian Embassy in Hungary maintains constant contact with the Hungarian competent authorities and hospitals where the injured Ukrainians are located. The situation is under special control of the Ukrainian diplomatic institution.
