In Greece, a fire broke out on a passenger ferry.

The incident took place in the Ionian Sea. A ship with three hundred people on board broke out. It caught fire on the deck of the third floor. The captain of the ship asked for help.
Passengers and crew from the ferry were evacuated to the nearest island of Corfu. No casualties have been reported yet. The causes of the fire are being investigated.
As reported, in Bangladesh on the night of December 24, 2021, as a result of a fire on a ferry in the Suganda River near the city of Jolokati, at least 16 people were killed and another 60 were injured. The passenger ship was returning to Bargun from Dhaka. The fire broke out in the engine room, and then spread throughout the watercraft.
