In Germany, Ukrainians were involved in a traffic accident. As a result of the collision of two cars, a child died and other family members were injured.
This was reported by 24 Kanal with reference to BILD and Westfälische Nachrichten. The fatal accident occurred on the highway near Stuckenbrock-Senne.
What is known about the accident involving Ukrainians in Germany
Five Ukrainians were involved in a road accident on the A33 motorway. In one of the cars involved in the accident were a 34-year-old driver, his 26-year-old passenger and three children aged 2 and 6.
It is known that while driving, the man suddenly changed lanes and drove into the oncoming lane. He did not notice another Opel, driven by a 24-year-old man from Borgentreich. The cars were driving head-on.
The Peugeot sustained significant damage in the accident. One of the 2-year-old girls who was riding in it received injuries incompatible with life. Other children were also injured – a 2-year-old child received serious injuries, and a 6-year-old – minor ones. The driver and passenger were also hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
A third vehicle, a Volkswagen Crafter, was also damaged in the accident. Its driver was not injured.

The accident closed the A33 for more than 6 hours and caused significant damage in the area.
Let us recall that a serious accident occurred in Hungary, in which 19 people were injured. Among them were 17 children from Ukraine. At least two minors were seriously injured. The children were traveling to the festival from Lviv. The injured were taken to the hospital, other passengers were provided with temporary housing.
