A resident of Munich was hospitalized with lacerations to her thigh after recklessly swimming in the river.
In recent days, the Bavarian capital has been 30 degree heat. On Thursday, July 18, one of the residents of Munich decided to escape the heat in the small river Würm in the west of the metropolis, but another danger awaited her in the cool water.
BILD writes about this.
While swimming, a woman noticed a large animal in the water not far from her and swam to the shore. But she didn’t manage to get out of the water in time.
The careless bather felt a sharp pain in her thigh, and the water around her turned red from severe bleeding, which opened as a result of the bite of an unknown animal.
Fortunately, the woman managed to get ashore, and passers-by immediately called an ambulance. Doctors hospitalized the victim with two lacerations, one of which was 10 cm long.
No one would ever know what kind of animal attacked the woman, but one of the witnesses to the attack managed to film the beaver swimming next to the woman. According to zoologists, it was a female beaver who could feel the danger to her cubs and thus tried to protect them.
Recall that in the Romanian Carpathians, a bear attacked a shepherd and bit him on the leg. The wounded 63-year-old man was taken to the hospital.
