According to the investigation, the parents of the victims of sexual violence themselves brought their daughters to Zahed’s apartment to study. Investigators found that since 2018, the defendant had molested little girls in his classes at least 11 times.
The indictment states that the pedophile teacher grabbed his students by the buttocks and kissed them with his tongue. Two victims of abuse told police that the teacher forced them to partially undress and kneel, and then touched their bodies.
Prosecutor Natalya Zilbernagel also stated that the investigation has evidence of one case of Zahed raping his student.
Before the start of the trial, the defendant’s lawyer stated that his client might admit his guilt. But in court, Zahed completely denied the charges brought against him.
According to the publication, the number of cases of sexual abuse of children has increased in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. According to law enforcement statistics, 5,065 such crimes were recorded last year, which is 22.6% more than in 2022.
