In France, they tried to hold a “wedding” between a 22-year-old British man and a 9-year-old child from Ukraine.
A private wedding was to take place at Disneyland Paris, organized by a foreigner, but when the bride arrived, it turned out that she was only 9 years old.

Four people – the alleged groom, a 22-year-old British citizen, the child's mother, 41, from Ukraine, and two Latvian citizens – have been arrested, according to the Mø prosecutor's office. All are charged with fraud and money laundering.
The prosecutor's office said the event was staged – the wedding was staged with about a hundred people playing the role of guests. A medical examination of the child revealed no signs of violence or coercion.
“This is not a real wedding, but a film shoot,” said the suspect, who identified himself as the director of a production company. “We wanted to make a movie.”
Witnesses, including park workers, were initially convinced they were witnessing a real ceremony. “We were all shocked when we found out the bride was a child,” they said.
Disneyland management confirmed that the privatization of the park for that day was cancelled and an official statement was filed with law enforcement agencies. The investigation is ongoing.
