In France, 62 policemen were injured during demonstrations
At least 62 policemen were injured in France during Saturday demonstrations against the bill “On global security”, reports TASS, referring to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.
It is clarified that 23 law enforcement officers were injured in Paris, 39 more in the provinces.
In addition, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, two protesters filed a complaint about violence by law enforcement officers to the General Police Inspectorate.
During demonstrations in France, more than 80 people involved in the riots were detained.
In 70 French cities on Saturday, demonstrations were held against the draft law “On global security”, which involves the introduction of a ban on photo and video filming of police and gendarmerie officers. According to official figures, 133,000 people took part in the protests.
