Local deputies representing the city and district councils fought in Berdyansk.

The police established that both men are deputies of the Berdyansk city and district councils from different parties.
On this fact, criminal proceedings were initiated under Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Intentional slight bodily injury). As part of the pre-trial investigation, a forensic medical examination was ordered.
In the publics of Berdyansk, information appeared that the victim's side claims that he was beaten on the road by a group of people who were in a state of severe alcohol or drug intoxication, who disappeared after the beating by car.
