In Belarus, the vaccination of medical workers with the first dose of the Russian drug against coronavirus “Sputnik V” has been completed, the Ministry of Health of the republic reports.
“Of the medical workers who applied for the first stage of vaccination, 3460 were vaccinated in the Brest region, 3950 in Vitebsk, 5495 in Gomel, 1795 in Grodno, 2285 in Minsk, 2324 in the Mogilev region,” , – said in a message in the Telegram channel.
First of all, the vaccine was provided to doctors at risk.
Vaccination is carried out on a voluntary basis.
In addition, Belarus completed the vaccination of employees of institutions with round-the-clock stay of children and adults in the Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk regions.
Vaccination of health workers began in Belarus in mid-January.
