On the border of Austria and Switzerland, as a result of an avalanche, five people were killed and another was injured. The tragedy occurred in the mountains of the Austrian Tyrol in the city of Spissi.

“On the Tyrolean-Swiss border in Spiess on Friday, an avalanche killed five people. The sixth person was taken to the hospital,” the report says.
It is noted that the identity and nationality of the victims are not reported. As of Friday, February 4, at least 50 avalanches were recorded in Austria.
Recall that in the Russian city of Saratov, a block of snow and ice from the roof of a high-rise building fell on the head of a local resident who was walking down the street. The woman was hospitalized in a moderate condition.
