In the village of Pechenegi, Kharkiv region, on December 30, at about 2.45 am, unknown assailants blew up an ATM.
Explosives experts have established that the attackers placed improvised explosive devices in the safe compartment of an ATM located in the hospital on Nezalezhnosti Street.
No one has been injured in the explosion.
The amount is now being set. damage caused to a banking institution.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – part 2 of Art. 194 (deliberate destruction or damage to property) and part 3 of Art. 185 (theft).
The maximum punishment under these articles is imprisonment for up to 10 years.
Law enforcers are now taking measures to identify and arrest the persons involved in the explosion and robbery.
