Analysts found that nearly a million Trello public boards are indexed by search engines. Because of this, the data of employees of Russian companies, including their passports, were in the public domain.
According to Kommersant, thousands of boards contain confidential information. In total, data from several hundred large and thousands of small Russian companies turned out to be on the Internet. The information was in the public domain due to the carelessness of company employees.
Companies are reported to be posting lists of employees and customers, contracts, passport scans, tender documents, product development documents, and corporate account credentials and passwords on boards.
Trello is a free online project manager. There have been leaks from the service before, but this one is the largest.
