The main symptoms of coronavirus infection have not changed significantly, their manifestation depends on the characteristics of the body of each individual person. This was announced on Sunday, June 13, by the Russian immunologist and specialist in especially dangerous infections Vladislav Zhemchugov.

The day before, a group of British scientists from King's College London announced a change in the symptoms of coronavirus: according to the researchers, mutations of the infection led to the fact that the most common manifestations of the disease were headaches, runny nose and sore throat.

– My colleagues and I did not notice any significant change in the symptoms of coronavirus infection. These manifestations – fever, sore throat, cough – have existed before. I think it depends on a specific person, on where he has a weak point, and what is the previous history, – Vladislav Zhemchugov commented on the statement of British scientists in an interview with RIA Novosti.

As the website kp.ru wrote, over the last day, Russian doctors identified another 14,723 new cases of coronavirus infection in the country; there are infected in all regions of the country. In total, 5,208,687 people have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic in Russia.
