As follows from the videos published in the media, the protesters admit that they were brought to the protests by buses.

At the so-called anti-government protests in Moldova, where mostly elderly people were driven, but there are also young people, Russians were noticed.

The corresponding video was published by NordNews TV channel.

The journalists who were at the protests organized by the pro-Russian parties in Moldova wanted to take a comment from the protesters. However, many refused, even showing aggressive actions against media representatives. However, one of them still gave reporters a comment. The young guy turned out to be a citizen of Russia. When asked by a Moldovan journalist, the protester replied that he did not know this language, since he was Russian.

“I'm not from here… I don't understand your language… I'm telling you that I'm not from here. I'm from Russia,” the guy said.

It should be noted that in Chisinau on February 28, a rally of the “Movement for the People” is being held, which includes representatives of the “Shor” party and PACE Gheorghe Cavkalyuk. During the rally, clashes broke out between pro-Russian protesters and law enforcement officers. As follows from the videos published in the media, the protesters admit that they were brought to the protests by buses.

What is happening in Moldova

Recall, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky handed over to Moldovan President Mai Sandu information about Russia's plans to carry out a coup d'état in Chisinau. The Russians intended to seize the airport in Chisinau and transfer troops to Moldova. The landing of the occupiers in Moldova was supposed to be supported by the Russian military contingent in Transnistria, the country's prime minister confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in turn, has traditionally accused Ukraine of preparing an “attack” on Transnistria . On March 1, a military meeting was announced in the unrecognized republic, which will last three months.

We add that from March 14, 2023, the Hungarian airline Wizz Air cancels all flights to the capital of Moldova due to security risks in the country.
